Ebike drivetrains wear faster than regular bikes. Torque from the motor, combined with shifting under load, stretches chains and eats cassettes. We replace parts at the right time so you're not buying a full drivetrain when a chain would have done.
A stretched chain doesn't just shift poorly. It drags over cassette teeth at the wrong angle, wearing the cogs into a shark-fin profile. Replace the chain in time and the cassette lasts for three or four chains.

Most ebike chains need replacing between 1,000 and 2,500 miles depending on motor output, rider style, and conditions. We measure wear with a proper gauge. When it hits 0.5% stretch on a standard chain (or 0.75% on some ebike-rated chains), it's time.
Yes. Ebike-specific chains and cassettes are built with hardened steel and reinforced link plates to handle motor torque. Using a regular chain on a high-torque ebike can lead to premature wear or snapped links.
Both are common. Cable stretch is the most frequent cause, but a bent derailleur hanger (from a fall or the ebike tipping over) is often mistaken for a derailleur issue. We'll diagnose first, adjust second.
